Company Van Insurance

The cheapest company van insurance, guaranteed

If you retain the financial responsibility for vans you provide to your employees, then you will need company van insurance. You can obtain quotations for your company van insurance here at Cheaper Van Insurance. Using the online quote request form, you will be able to access many major UK insurance companies in just a few minutes. You can also obtain quotations for other insurance that you may require such as tools in van, goods in transit, liability and breakdown cover. Cut out the middleman by using the simple tools on our website, and you may find competitive quotations without the added cost of broker fees.

If you need company van insurance for one to four vehicles, then you may find the best deal with a single vehicle company van insurance policy. With a single vehicle policy, your company vans will be insured together, but will earn no claims bonus (NCB) individually, and specific drivers can be named on each vehicle. Single vehicle company van insurance policies can also be extended to include an 'any driver' clause, if necessary. This type of policy allows you to reduce costs by restricting the driving, and road traffic accidents will be taken in to account only for the vehicles and drivers that were involved.

"The cheapest company van insurance, guaranteed"

If you require company van insurance for many vehicles and drivers, then a fleet company van insurance policy may better suit your needs. A fleet policy will give you an 'any driver' clause, automatically, which could be limited by age and driving experience, but where drivers who fall outside of the criteria may be added with additional clauses and excesses. Some insurance companies may not allow the addition of drivers who do not meet the criteria, however. It is important to note that accidents will be applied to a confirmed claims experience (CCE), where frequency and costs of claims are noted against the fleet as a whole and each vehicle does not earn its own NCB. If you need to transfer your fleet of vehicles over to a single vehicle company van insurance policy, you will not be able to obtain an NCB discount on each vehicle. However, if your CCE is favourable, the insurer may allow an enhanced introductory NCB discount on each vehicle.

Whether you require a single vehicle or a fleet company van insurance policy, cover can be different for each vehicle, if you prefer. Your low value vehicles, for example, can have a lower level of cover than your newer, more expensive vehicles, and this can help you to reduce the cost of your company van insurance policy for both single vehicles and fleets. However, lower cover is not a necessity for low value vehicles, and comprehensive cover can still be applied to said vehicles, if you wish. Once you have assessed your needs, you can compare prices for the different levels of cover, which are third party only (TPO), third party, fire and theft (TPFT) and comprehensive, by obtaining multiple quotations.
